Content: One day each year in February, nearly 200 Napa Valley Vintners gather to offer select members of the trade the opportunity to taste from barrel and bid on wines created soley for this event, to be bought by only one bidder. Each of these is a "one-off", a blend, variety, appellation, or vineyard or barrel designation unique to the winery, or a collaboration among two or more winemakers. Primarily from the 2006 vintage, this years exclusive Premier Napa Valley wines will be available as 5-case, 10-case, or 20-case lots to be released at the discretion of the vintner, specially labeled, individually numbered and bottles in 750ml or 1.5L bottles. Nowhere else can you obtain such rare wines. But Premier Napa Valley is also a place to rub elbows and compare notes, visit with old friends and make new ones. To see what some of the world's greatest winemakers come up with when all bets are off. The Napa Valley Vintners Association invites you to join the winemakers and vintners of the Napa Valley to take part in this venerable industry event that supports the Napa Valley Vintners' efforts to promote and protect the Napa Valley Appellation as a winegrowing region second to none in the world.
